Photographed between 2004 and 2010, LOOK FABULOUS explores the neighborhoods, streets, businesses, and everyday landscapes surrounding Houston's rap culture.

Rather than focusing solely on musicians, the photographs turn toward the city itself: strip malls, record stores, hand-painted signs, parking lots, car washes, roadside memorials, fading advertisements, and the architecture of a rapidly changing Houston.

Made over six years while documenting the city's communities, the work forms a portrait of place—a record of the visual language and atmosphere that defined Houston during those years. Alongside the photographs, the zine includes period ephemera drawn from the archive, including flyers, snapshots, advertisements, and other printed artifacts.

Many of the places pictured have since disappeared, making LOOK FABULOUS both a photographic essay and a visual record of a changing city.
